OPI Axxium Soak Off Lacquer system to Carla Bella Day Spa. Axxium is a gel based nail lacquer so that it lasts at least to weeks. Its an ideal system for someone who wants their polish to last 2 weeks between manicures but does not like artificial nail enhancements. I was first drawn to the product because as a hairdresser and clients constantly see my hands but my polish would chip off throughout the day. Axxium can also be used on the toes providing a long lasting polish as well as a ready to wear finish. Yes! You can put your winter socks and boots on immediately after the service. I really believe that this product will some day replace the traditional lacquer in the professional salon.

In addition to the OPI Axxium system I am a licensed Ohio Cosmetologist as well as a former Indiana Instructor. I offer a wide varitiy of servies in Hair Stylisting, color and hair revomal. I have spent that last few years focusing on haircutting skills.

Carla’s Artificial Enhancements

Carla Renee Horoszko, owner of Carla Bella Day Spa has been a Backscratchers Glass Glaze nail user, Educator for 23 years.

The product has no monomers, primers or UV lights. It does not leak into the bloodstream. It does not need to be soaked off, just slighltly filed off, it usually has a forever french tips that is bright white, and made of an ABS virgin plastic placed on top of the nail free edge, fiberglass and dip acrylic is placed on top for strength. The Resin is placed on the nail plate and sprayed with the activator to set the molecules to make it become a non-pores system (nail). Maintenance , every two weeks for re-balance, full sets every 10 weeks or so.(depending on the nail growth. They need hydration to keep them adhered. They are considered the Brides nails, almost no damage at all to the natural nail plate.
